The ruling party in Lagos state, All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday said it is fully prepared for the March 11 governorship election.
Recall that the Labour Party won the presidential election in the state and there is anxiety as to whether its governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour will repeat same feat in Saturday against Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is seeking reelection for a second term in office as governor.
However speaking with News Men, Hon. Seye Oladejo, Publicity Secretary of the APC in Lagos said the party is confident of winning the election as the opposition parties in the state pose no threat in any way to them.
According to him, aside massive mobilization of the electorates, the APC believes that Governor Sanwo-Olu's superlative performance during his first term is a major selling point which will make Lagosians give him another mandate of four years.
He said " We are very well prepared for Saturday's governorship election. Massive mobilization of voters with the landmark achievements of the governor during his first tenure as our selling points. We anticipate no problem. We will win"
