The Labour Party presidential candidate, in the just concluded Election in Nigeria, Peter Obi, has filed a suit at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Abuja, against the declaration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner by the electoral commission.

The petition seen and obtained by our reporter is marked CA/PEC/02m/2023 with Obi and the LP as plaintiffs, while the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Bola Tinubu, and the All Progressives Congress, APC are the defendant.
Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of the 2023 General Election amid controversies surrounding the conduct of the Election.
