UTME means - Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination; hence the FUTA Post UTME Screening is an advanced stage of UTME exam conducted by various Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria to select qualified students for admission.

FUTA Post UTME Screening |Here are three Eligibility Requirements:
1. Candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their first choice of Institution during UTME registration or change of institution.
2. Candidates who wrote Jamb and deemed to have scored a minimum of 180 marks in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB).
3. Direct Entry candidates are also eligible and required to sit for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.
How Much is FUTA Post UTME Fee?
FUTA Post UTME Screening Fee is N2, 000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, and payable at any bank on REMITA platform only.
FUTA Post UTME Screening | Five basic steps on how to Apply for FUTA Post UTME Screening 2022/23:
- Students should visit the University website - futa.edu.ng to login
- Login with your valid UTME Number
- Generate RRR, and make payment on REMITA platform only and confirm the payment
- Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application form online; and
- Lastly, print out a copy.
Note: The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
For FUTA post UTME Screening, you will be asked to provide your O'level Results and Jamb UTME scores for grading.
After payment, each candidate should visit the University’s website futa.edu.ng and complete an online Registration Form. The completed Form should be printed for the candidate’s use.
FUTA Post UTME Screening | Screening Schedule:
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) conduct a Computer-Based Pre-Admission Screening Exercise; but the School did ONLY Online Screening this year. The screening date is always released ahead of the day for all Applicants to access. The venue is always the university campus or school site for online screening.
FUTA Post UTME: Screening Date and Exam Schdule:
To know your screening date for FUTA Post UTME, all candidates are to follow this there basic steps:
- log on to the Post UTME Screening site
- Enter their registration details used during application
- Download your screening slip to see your Post UTME screening date, time, and venue.
FUTA Post UTME Screening | All Documents to bring for Exam:
All candidates should bring along the following three basic items to the screening venue:
- JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration Slips for Direct Entry candidates.
- Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form.
- Evidence of payment via REMITA.
Note: Candidates are not allowed to bring cell phones, IPad, Walkman, wristwatches, sunglasses or any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials into the FUTA Post UTME screening hall.
FUTA Post UTME | Why You Will Not Be Considered/Offered Admission:
Be careful during your registration because FUTA will not give you admission for the following five reasons:
- Falsification of results
- Any UTME candidate who is not screened will not be considered for admission in the University.
- Candidates who didnot upload their O’ level results to JAMB CAPS website [check your jamb caps - efacility.jamb.gov.ng]
- Candidates who didn't make FUTA first Choice of Institution
- Candidates without at lest five credit pass; to include Mathematics, English and three other subjects relevant to the field of Study [Check O'level requirements for FUTA Courses futa.edu.ng]
FUTA Post UTME | Here are Two basic steps on how to Check your Screening Result for FUTA Post UTME:
- Applicants are to login to FUTA Post UTME result portal to check there results
- Enter your Jamb reg and click check result.
