In 2022, Jandor was declared as the Governorship candidate for the 2023 Lagos State gubernatorial election, under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, alongside popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele (Jenifer), his deputy.

Early Life Background, Family and Education:
Olajide Abdulazeez Adediran, also known as Jandor was born on the November 25, 1977, in Mushin area of Lagos State, South-West Nigeria. His father is a Muslim, while his mother is a Christian. He is the 5th child out of 7 siblings that he has.
Jandor had both his primary school and secondary school education in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria. He furthered to The Polytechnic Ibadan. He also attended Universities such as Modul University, Vienna; the Prestigious Howard University School of Business, Washington DC, USA; and Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom, where he completed his other educational background and earned several degree of certificates.
Career:
His first career started with journalism. He developed himself as a skilled journalist; encompassing business, entertainment, and politics before finding a job in the communication Industry as a consultant. He is also a participant in a number of professional associations, including the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). Jandor currently oversees Core Media Services Ltd., a full-service media company that engages in advertising and media consultancy, as well as Datanet Project Services, a company that specializes in oil installations, procurement, and construction.
Aside all these, Jandor owns Core-Bet, a casino and sports betting company. He also owns CoreTvNews, a 24-hour national digital terrestrial network on Channel 748. He is also the head of the Jandor Foundation, a non-profit organization in Lagos State that was founded to help the poor.
He has won many titles, to include that of year 2010, where he won Nigeria at 50 Young Achievers Award
His Political Career:
Though, no much of details of when he started his political career, but he was recognized in Lagos politics when he served as the lead convener of the Lagos4Lagos movement, a faction of the state’s All Progressive Congress (APC) that eventually defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Jandor's political career came to limelight after he was declared the Lagos State 2023 gubernatorial candidate under the platform of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
Jandor is currently the PDP governorship Candidate in Lagos State, alongside his deputy - popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele; who was announced on July 6, 2022 and he will be contesting alongside Gbadebo of the LP and Sanwo-olu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Impact of Jandor's Foundation:
Due to his passion to help humanity, He established the Jandor Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to uplift the underprivileged, particularly the Lagosians. Thus, the organization is present in all the 54 local government areas in Lagos State.
As at 2022 record, the Jandor foundation has over 2,000 volunteers, 11,000 lives have been changed, and more than 1,700 projects have been commissioned and he is still impacting lives in Lagos.
