Habeeb Okikiola Omolalomi (Portable) was born on 12 March, 1994 in a Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, in the Western part of Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview with BoomPlay in 2022, on how he met Olamide, Portable has this to say, “I met Don Blue, an online blogger. I have never seen him physically. He reposted my song, and I showed him gratitude. Shortly after, Don Blue called me and told me that Baddo wanted to meet me, so I rushed to Lekki to meet Baddo,” he said.

His rise and influence opened doors of brand endorsement for him earlier 2022 as he signed a brand ambassadorship deal with Obi Cubana’s owned Odogwu Bitters alongside comedian Broda Shaggi. He also got signed by a car Mart, of whom he was gifted a Ranger Rover Car.

He attracted his first career controversy within the first month of breaking into the Nigerian music industry. During his early stage of fame, he became well known for calling out his business partners on social media for scamming him on business deals such as artist management and also on his Instagram handle where he mostly does all his controversial activities.
Portable cursed Pocolee and his show promoter - kogbagidi for ripping him off. Although, he later apologised to both of them, he still throws subliminal shades at them on social media and stage performances and interviews.
One of his derogatory comments and threats to another artist caused his name to be removed from the Headies Award nomination list for year 2022.
It was also reported that he was once dragged on social media for saying he is a member of a notorious robbery gang in Lagos State called "Aja and one million boys". This almost cost him a lot as even the Lagos State Police command ordered for his interrogation.
In the build-up to the Osun state guber election in 2022, Portable was also in the news. From flaunting money made to calling out Davido, and his critics, and also mocking the All Progressives Congress (APC), the singer ensured a lot of attention was on him.
