A member of the House of Representatives and campaigner of Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Chinyere Igwe, has been allegedly arrested with $500,000 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Igwe, who represents Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, was nabbed on Friday during a stop and search operation along Aba Road axixi.
Spokesperson of Rivers Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the arrest, said: "A statement on it will be released soon".
Mainwhile, the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign team is yet to react to this as at the time of filing this report.
