Nigerians' President, Mohammadu Buhari will be presenting the Country's 2023 budget on Friday, October 7, the budget will be the last for his Administration as he prepares to leave office for new administration by May, 2023.
Buhari will on Friday, October 7, present the N19.76trn 2023 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly; House of Rep and Senate.
If presented, this budget will be the highest so far in the history of budget presentation in Nigeria. Though, critics say the President has been running his budget for Seven Years on Loans and deficit.
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan disclosed the presentation details while reading a letter from the President to members of the house at the commencement of plenary on October 4.
According to the letter, the budget presentation will take place at 10:00am at the temporary chamber of the House of Representatives.
Senate President said arrangements have been made to accommodate all members of the National Assembly and the president's entourage.
