2023: Obi, Tinubu, Atiku, Others To Pay ₦10M Each For Campaign Posters In Anambra- Soludo



The Anambra State government led by Charles Soludo has banned the use of campaign posters on bridges, roundabouts, and others in the nooks and crannies of  the state.


The state government also stated that for any presidential candidate to paste a campaign poster in the state, they must pay ₦10 million while senatorial candidates will pay ₦7million each.


The government also taxed the Federal House of Representatives candidates the sum of ₦5 million; State House of Assembly, ₦1million to be eligible to paste their campaign posters anywhere in the state.


This was made known in a statement signed by the MD/CEO of Anambra Signage and Advertising Agency, ANSAA, Tony Odili Ujubuonu.


The state government also banned the pasting of any campaign posters on round-about, street lights and other public buildings in the state.


He stated that the statutory costs for out-of-home media and mobile advertising were pegged at ₦100,000 for 48 sheets billboards; ₦500,000 for Spectacular billboards; ₦500,000 Gantry displays; ₦100,000 for irregularly shaped billboard; ₦50,000 for branded vehicle; and ₦5,000 for Keke rear branding, respectively.
