Born on 1st February, 1986, Adetola Abdullateef Adedimeji is a Nigerian actor and filmmaker. He gained popularity with his first major role in Yewande Odukoya's 2013 movie titled Kudi Klepto, and has acted in over 150 Nigerian movies since he began his acting career about fifteen years ago. He is currently a brand ambassador for Airtel Nigeria and Numatville Megacity.

Lateef Adedimeji is a Nollywood actor, filmmaker, scriptwriter, director and producer, he is known as the “Crying Machine” due to the fact that he plays a crying role better than any other actor, he knows how to cry.
Adetola Abdullateef Adedimeji was born in Lagos on the 1st of February 1986. He was born as the fourth of six children into the family of Mr & Mrs. Kudu ray Adedimeji he is from Abeokuta, Ogun State though he was raised in Lagos state.
His mother Mrs. Kudirat Adedimeji is from Oyo state, she is a trader by profession. He spent most of his kid days till he becomes of age in Lagos State because he was born in the Oshodi/Isolo area of the state and he had his elementary education and also his secondary school in Lagos State.
Growing up, Lateef Adedimeji had his basic education in Lagos State and also his secondary school education, he then proceeded to the tertiary institution to study and obtain his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye Ogun State.
Lateef Adedimeji started his acting career in 2007, but came to limelight in 2013 after his performance in “Kudi Klepto”, a movie produced by popular actress, Yewande Adekoya.
Since then he has been featuring and starring in various movies and has appeared in over 100 Nollywood movies. His talent coupled with his sense of humor has been speaking for him ever since he started his acting career.
According to Lateef Adedimeji during an interview, he made it known to us that he developed a love for acting while in secondary school.

Due to his talent and intelligent writing skill he was picked by an NGO to be a counselor for HIV/AIDS campaign, he was meant to create an educative video on human rights and sexual related issues which he did perfectly and this has served as an addition to his CV.
Lateef was inspired by Antar Laniyan a Nigerian movie actor, producer, director and successful veteran in the Nigerian movie industry.
His fame has been attracting big brands and also the best movie producers in Nigeria and this landed him a job from UNICEF to feature on a radio drama titled “Omo Catch Up”. After this, he got a job to be a scriptwriter for the popular Orisun TV on a program titled “Sababi” which was aired for over 2 years.
Lateef Adedimeji has worked alongside top actors and actresses in Nollywood, the likes of Muyiwa Ademola, Funke Akindele, Jide Kosoko, Eniola Badmus, Bisola Badmus, Toyin Abraham, Iya Rainbow, Bolanle Ninalowo and many more.
He also has features in movies like Olokiki Oru: The Midnight Sensation, CulturE and many others, he is no doubt an actor that deserves to be rewarded for the contribution he made in Nollywood.
