RESOLUTIONS OF THE LAW STUDENTS LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL AT HER SITTING HELD ON THE 28TH OF JUNE, 2017.
Pursuant to Section 13(5) of the Constitution of the Law Students' Society which states that "The LSRC shall have power to pass resolutions on any matter(s) affecting the law students' society in so far as such resolution does not conflict with this constitution." The house do hereby make the following resolutions;
1. Pursuant to section S.13(14) of the LSS constitution which provides that "Subject to the provision of this constitution the L.S.R.C shall have power to determine and regulate its own procedure." The house hereby resolves that at LSRC sittings all honourables must wear black socks with a black tie and females should stick to the constitutional dress code.
2. Pursuant to S. 13(1) of the LSS constitution which provides that "The L.S.R.C shall consider and approve budget proposal for the Executive Council and shall meet at least three times in a semester." The House hereby approves the budget of Ifelaw Sports Week as follows;

The house also approves the budget of the Academic Committee as follows;

3. Pursuant to S.33(b) of the LSS constitution which states that "if the officer is found guilty by 2/3 majority of the LSRC provided that such an offence does not amount to removal of such officer(s), he shall be suspended." The house hereby suspends Ashore-Onisemo Funmilayo, the Financial Secretary of the society on the grounds of gross misconduct which the lss constitution in S.35(2) interprets as "a grave violation or breach of the provision of this constitution or a misconduct of such nature as amount in the opinion of the LSRC or Congress to be gross misconduct." The house deems the financial secretary guilty of constitutional aberration in allowing a non-member of the society to perform her constitutional duty of collection of annual dues. Therefore the house hereby resolves that the duties of the financial secretary should be carried out by the Treasurer pending her return from suspension. It was further resolved that she should desist from such acts that violates the sacrosanct constitution of the Law Students' Society in her future handling of the affairs of the Office of the Financial Secretary.
4. The house also resolves that the policies made by the resource centre committee shall be binding on all members of the society as the policy is for the progress of the society.
